1970's Kava Instant Coffee Radio Commercial with Gary Owens & Arnold Stang?
Переглядів 10 тис.10 років тому
1970's (or early 80's) radio commercial for Kava Instant Coffee featuring Gary Owens and (maybe) Arnold Stang (sounds like his voice playing "Herbie"). A memory of my childhood, hearing these commercials every day on early morning New York radio between the weather and traffic and news reports and that "Kappa Kava" sticking in my head ever since. Lots of fun.

Cicadas on Staten Island 2013

Some random video of cicada invasion of Staten Island, June, 2013. Apologize four the poor quality of some of the video, but was unfamiliar with the camera, and am not a photographer anyway. If you think it sucks, I guess it does, but what the heck. it's for free.

This guy really cracks me up!!!😂😂 😂
The one selling point they don’t mention is that by removing the acid compounds, it also greatly diminishes the purgative effect coffee has naturally. In this way, coffee acts much like tea, which is one reason that leaf started to compete with the bean.
Bennett Cerf hauls in the Hail Mary pass! Unfortunately, time has run out!
This is actually before Arte Johnson played in Rowan and Martin Laugh In Sock It To Me probably in the 1950s or maybe early 1960s
Her mother accent is not Eastern European Yiddish. It is ignored.
We didn’t have a TV back then, but used to listen to Arthur Godfrey on the radio.
Reminded me of Angie Dickinson, stunning.
Dan Osinski in that photo bears a strong resemblance to 1940s character actor Skelton Knaggs.
I love watching the footage from that first race…Ray, just sitting in his car all calm and collected with that slight grin in his face, having no idea the significance of what he had just won. I’d give about anything to know what Ray is up there thinking in regard to the car’s capabilities today.
Animated by Ed Love
Actually, my favorite contestant is the woman who runs the nudist colony. The audience laughs hard on this episode, but even harder in that one.
Jumbo so cute and funny
Art goes to my gym
She was so amazing. Grew up with her playing the organ for The Mets.
How is it that know recogizes AJ Foyt from winning the Indy 500?
Who murdered dorothy?
1) Her husband 2) CIA 3) Mafia
"N" Word Long Island is right!😅😅😅😅😅
I don’t know why John Charles Daly gave Arlene Francis a no to her question about people searching him out. Of course they searched him out.
Darryl saying is dale before saying anything about Michael winning! Says it all about how bad that wreck was!
This is incorrect. The first stereo discs were cut in 1933 based on a patented technique that was created by Alan Blumlein of EMI after he started experiments in binaural recordings in 1931
That woman is an absolute beauty. WOW
I’m convinced that Bennett Cerf had inside information on this show.
This was nice to watch
high-octane stuff! little cutie can really play too.
Well done my Real Brain of the Brayan ❤💕❤
My Real father Joy waydone belong to love ly peaches ❤💕💕💕💕💕💕❤❤
yes, it was a close play. but Law looked safe to me.
Aww one the best show wishing it was now 2024
I miss the jars of instant tea.
Bells Labs were experimenting with stereo recordings earlier than this example and some of the results were issued in 1979-80 on two LPs. Examples from these LPs are already on UA-cam, so here first is the "Ride of the Valkyries" played by Stokowski and the Philadelphia Orchestra in April 1932 ... ua-cam.com/video/nQMZY488Oyc/v-deo.html Here is some more Wagner, 'Wotan's Farewell and Magic Fire Music,' again from 1932 with the same forces ... ua-cam.com/video/EWWuYzPP3ys/v-deo.html .The two men who cut their record in 1934 don't claim in their commentary that it was the first stereo recording, so the caption "World's First Stereo Recording" is clearly incorrect.
Jane Jarvis did so well here. As did the other imposter.
"That ain't very smart"....
Insight to what’s going on today?
Eamon Andrews sounds so American here.
Cesar Romero (panelist) goes back to 1934 as he was in the first "The Thin Man" movie with Myrna Loy and William Powell. He may have been in earlier movies then 1934 but that one I particularly remember.😀😀😀
Kids today can't write in cursive.
Or read it. It's sad
"Can you hear me now?"
RIP Gabriel Fontana (1922-2017)
Talk about a profession that society phased out ! Not only does most of today's woman refuse to wear a dress /skirt.... But for those rare females who do they would cause a huge scandal screaming "sexism, rape and patriarchy."
Good times. All my friends have sailed away
HILARIOUS !!!!
Jack gay? Anyone know?
Not as far as anyone knows. Actually, according to some, he was a stealth lady's man who had his fun but kept it low key because he was a married man and his wife was on his show, LOL.
"Never bubble your i's!" That was a favorite scolding my sixth grade English teacher handed out, and this lady would have gotten that for her signature.
Don't worry... Johnny won't breathe a word about this until May 22nd 1992.
She's so beautiful. Her voice is absolutely amazing. Never get tired of listening to her and Easier Said Than Done. 1963 was a great year for music. So many classic hits that year. Thank you Anita and The Essex. ❤ Not a good year for JFK.
😂ESCARGENCY 😂
I still blurt out "KAVA KAVA!!!!!!" It's my secret and people think I'm crazy.
I met Ralph Houk at a Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh in 1992. He was somewhat tired, but eagerly recommended the shrimp fried rice.
She missed her calling...this stunningly beautiful lady should have been a movie star or a cover model on vouge magazine.
